Family Promise of Gwinnett provides temporary housing for screened homeless families by using host churches that provide overnight housing for these families on a weekly basis. SJN became a host church in 2015.  In 2018, St. Stephen’s Family Promise Ministry became a support parish for SJN.  In addition to the collaborative work between SJN and St. Stephen’s, other nearby Catholic host churches involved in the Family Promise of Gwinnett ministry are St. Oliver Plunkett, St. Lawrence and St. Monica.  SJN is excited to have the opportunity to be a host church two weeks in 2018.  The first host week is July 15th – July 22nd.  The second host week is December 30th – January 6th.  Many volunteers are needed the weeks that SJN hosts.
